Asqual Getaneh
Dr. Asqual Getaneh, MPH, FACP is an Ethiopian-American Chief Medical Officer of the International Community Health Services in Seattle, Washington. Previously Dr. Getaneh served as a Medical Director at Unity Health Care, as an attending and research physician at MedStar Washington Hospital Center and Health Research Institute in Washington D.C., and an Associate Clinical Professor of Medicine at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons/New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dr. Getaneh has also worked as an Associate Director of Programs for HIV/AIDS in Nigeria and Ethiopia for the Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health and has been involved in philanthropic work focused on training clinicians and programs in Ethiopia.
