Orphaned & Vulnerable Youth 

M.O.R.E. is the principal donor for the Orphaned and Vulnerable Youth (OVY) Program. The primary objective of OVY is to ensure the sustained well-being of the youth as they age through adolescence into adulthood.  Continued services from the OVC program are provided, along with age appropriate advice and counseling, as well as offering life skill training through technical or vocational education, in addition to preparation and ongoing support for those qualified to advance to / through College & University studies.

    • Primary ages 10 - 20 years old

  • Income generating activities such as Urban Agriculture
  • Regular healthcare check-ups and care
  • Routine eye and dental exams
  • Therapeutic and supplemental feeding for children with malnutrition
  • Oversee Home Based Care (HBC) program
  • Food grain, oil, and nutrional support
  • Provide milk and cooked meals
  • Monthly cash allowance
  • Life skill training for TVET, Prep, College and University students
  • Provision of school supplies and other related fees
  • Cost sharing for TVET and Prep
  • Graduation clothes and shoes for College and University 
  • Basic computer training, including internet literacy
