Yodit Amaha, MSW has been serving the Philadelphia community as a dedicated advocate for children and families, volunteer interpreter, speaker and resource consultant for the Ethiopian Community. She is a member of the National Network for Immigrant and Refugee Rights, the Network for Social Work Management, and the Concerned African-American Parent Committee. Internationally, Yodit is a consultant for the Integrated Family Service Organization. As an Ethiopian-American she is fluent is both cultures and lives by her motto – “when working with the youth, I don’t see children at risk. I see children with possibilities!”
